The Australian National Aviation Museum, which is located at Moorabbin Airport hosts the WINGS model competition which is held on the weekend of 21st-22nd October. The competition tables are located along side the aircraft on display, in a similar fashion to the Bayonet Comp located around an in progress restoration of a B-24 Liberator. There were several swap & sell tables and a few traders plus a load of books to tempt the public and entrants alike. I was there long enough to snap a few pics of the show and all the exhibits, but all in all it was a fun day. Well done to the organisers and to the museum staff who worked hard to make this a great event.
